Some countries have lack of cars or they are too expensive to purchase unless the delivery possibilities. Relocation of cars is a standard service often used for relocation to other continents or overseas.
Procedure
The production year, the fuel and conformity with local standards are some of the obstacles to consider. Car shipments classified as hazardous depending the fuel are subject of extra costs at the ports. Consult our car specialists before shipping it.
Customs regulations
Car shipments are often subject to extra custom regulations at destination. Title of ownership, purchase order or invoice are required. Sometimes duties will be applicable whether the car is used or not.
Cars, Documents Required
• Original Registration Card / Export Certificate
• Color copy of Purchase Invoice / Sales Contract
• Certificate of Insurance from origin country for at least 6 months prior to ETA
Specific information
• Declaration form owner must state that the vehicle has been in his or her possession for more than 6 months, the approximate current value and that the vehicle is not for resale.
• Vehicles are subject of separate clearance, and a bond is applicable. Transit and final clearance will be charged € 220. Client will receive final exoneration from local custom office.
